Chouf District of Lebanon
Departure from hotel at 8:00 am towards the Chouf District of Lebanon - you will have your pit stop for breakfast in Khaldeh to have “Kaake”, a Syrian breakfast, before you get to Al Shouf Cedars Nature Reserve to proceed on your hike. It is located on the slopes of Barouk Mountain and has an area of 550 km², nearly 5.3% of the Lebanese territory and 70% of Lebanon's green area, making it the largest nature reserve in the Middle East. The reserve is an Important Bird Area and Eco-tourism area. It hosts 32 species of wild mammals, 200 species of birds, and 500 species of plants. The reserve is also home to 24 tree species, of which some are found in Europe and the Mediterranean area as well as in Lebanon. Once done, you will be taken to the top of the mountain by vehicle to witness a breathtaking view of the Bekaa valley. Your lunch will be in Mir Amine Palace in Beit El Dine, an hour away, once residence owned by the Chehabi Emires, where you will have a Lebanese mezze and grills in an outdoor restaurant overlooking the Shouf Mountains and Beiteddine Palace. Return to Hotel in Beirut.

Beiteddin palace, 45 KM away from Beirut, houses is a museum of feudal weapons, costumes and jewelry as well as an archeological museum and a museum of Byzantine mosaics
Deir El Kamar; the capital of Mount Lebanon, located 35 km away from Beirut, now it is a typical Lebanese village with its historical center, souk (market), museum, mosque & churches.
