Tour Itinerary

day1

North
Departure at 16:00 from Beirut and head towards the North of Lebanon to reach Deir El-Ahmar, a beautiful village with traditional houses and churches Arrival at Deir El-Ahmar village Check in, dinner and overnight at one of the houses

day2

El-Yammoune
Breakfast at Guesthouse at 9:00 am and proceed to do hiking at El-Yammoune Nature reserve and discover local biodiversity with park ranger. You will have a Picnic Lunch at the location, before you head back to Guest house

day3

Baalbeck
Departure at 9:00 am to visit Baalbeck archeological UNESCO site- Lunch at Hotel Palmyra restaurant Traditional food of Baalbek, (sfyha) Visit Deir El-Ahmar village: traditional houses, St Joseph church, some archeological remains. Participation in seasonal agricultural activities depending on the season: Tobacco leaf picking, fruit picking, food and provisions process with the women of the village. Back to Beirut around 18:00

day4

Ebel Es-Saqi
Departure at 9:00 am from Beirut and head towards the South to reach Ebel Es-Saqi.Check-in at Dana hotel, Ebel Es-Saqi Check in, dinner and overnight at Hotel

Village Tour
Breakfast at hotel at 9:00 am and proceed on foot to visit the village to see traditional houses and visit Souk El-Khan, Ottoman caravanserai archeological site. You will then visit El-Hebbariye Roman temple remains, as well as Chehabi citadel – Hasbaiya Khalwat El-Biyyada, high Druze religious place. On the way you will be crossing El-Hasbani river sacred water source and restaurants

day5

Village Tour
Breakfast at hotel at 9:00 am and proceed on foot to visit the village to see traditional houses and visit Souk El-Khan, Ottoman caravanserai archeological site. Breakfast at Hotel, check out . Visit Beit El-Fallah, peasant house. Continue to the Museum; Walk at Hima Ebel Es-Saqi, Bird Watching activity in spring and autumn, during migration periods early in the morning) . Lunch at local house in the village or at one of the Hasbani river restaurants . Visit the sacred water source of the Hasbani river, main affluent of the Jordan River.Proceed to Beirut
