Become a Pilot

The sky cruiser Lebanon offers flight training programs for the following certificates and ratings:


A private pilot license (PPL) is a license that permits the holder to act as the pilot-in-command of an aircraft privately (not for pay). The requirements to obtain the license are determined by the International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO), but the actual implementation varies widely from country to country. we have the following requirements.



– Be at least 18 years of age

– Hold a valid Medical Certificate Class I or II

– Completed a minimum of 40 hours private pilot ground school covering: Air law, Aircraft General Knowledge, Principles of Flight, Flight Performance and Planning, Navigation, Meteorology, Operational Procedures, Human Performance and Limitations, and Communications

– Completed a minimum of 42 hours private pilot flight training including the following:

  •    15 hours of dual instruction flight time including 3 hours cross country and 5 hours instrument time
  • 10 hours solo flight time including 5 hours flight a minimum of 150 nautical miles, in the course of which full-stop landings at two different aerodromes shall be made


– Within the 12 months preceding the date of application for the license applicant shall have successfully completed a flight test

  • Refund policy
  • If booked flight is cancelled 10 days in advance: 100% refund is applicable
  • If booked flight is cancelled 6 days in advance 50% refund is applicable
  • Same day of flight cannot be cancelled, but can be rescheduled for an additional gate pass fee.
  • Airport gate pass is nun refundable under all circumstances. ( 20 USD per person)
  • Requirements for a gate pass:
  • Phone number
  • Lebanese ID scan (both sides)
  • Full address (city, street, building, floor)
  • Rescheduling policy
  • Weather: In case of a reschedule due to bad weather conditions, passengers must pay the gate pass fees
  • again.
  • Delayed passengers: In case of a delayed passenger, the flight might be at risk of rescheduling and they’re asked to pay the gate pass fees again.
  • Military exercise: In case of a reschedule due to a military exercise, passengers might be asked to pay the gate pass fees again.
  • Delayed crew, official military request: In the case of a delayed pilot, or an official military request to Reschedule the flight, LebAdvisor will cover the gate pass fees.
  • Notes:
  • Bookings are required within at least five business days.
  • Bookings are only confirmed with a full advanced payment within 5 business days of your requested flight.
  • Phones are not always allowed as requested by the Lebanese Army
  • Additional info:
  • Reservation should be made at least 5 days in advance.
  • your passport or ID is needed for the permit issuance. .
  • Flights are available every day between 9:00 am and 18:00 Except Mondays.
  • Since this activity is subject to weather conditions, postponement of flight could occur on the same day, which means you can book the session at a later date.
  • Each Flight can accommodate 3 persons.
  • Guests under 18 years of age must possess a written approval from their tutors
  • A Must Know: Following Beirut’s‘ International Airport rules and regulations; No cameras or phones are allowed inside the Airport Base nor on the plane
